We pride ourselves on having served award-winning steak and seafood to the people of York for over ten years. The independent restaurant, situated on King's Staith on the banks of the River Ouse, specialises in serving a range of fish, mostly sourced locally from Whitby, and a wonderful variety of steak dishes. Diners can enjoy a range of dishes including king scallops, large whole sea bass, lobster thermador, whole king prawns, 'carpet bagger' fillet steak stuffed with stilton cheese with a brandy and cream sauce, 'surf and turf' steak topped with tiger prawns in a garlic sauce and mussels. All dishes are served with a wonderful varitey of fresh vegetables. The 60-seater restaurant is open seven days a week, from
12.30pm - 2pm, and 5.30pm - 10pm. Prime time menu until
6.30pm.
